Reinsurance Gross Premium has been growing at a stable rate of one and half to two times annually since foundation of Moscow Re.
In 2003, the growth rate decreased slightly due to normative limitaton on solvency margin.
This served as a starting point for a new step in the Company’s development. Moscow Re’s capital increase with the arrival of a a new shareholder. Currently Moscow Re can write bigger risks and can also offer bigger capacity to its clients.

Inspite of its active business growth, Moscow Re refused only 1 claim during its 8 year's of existence. The Company will continue to follow high-quality standarts of reinsurance service. ... claims have been settled during the whole period of Moscow Re's existence and RUB ... million of insurance indemnity hase been paid. Moscow Re settles around 3 claims every hour and pays more than 289,000 RUB of insurance indemnity.

Business growth is not only due to Russian and CIS companies but also to international business. Currently Moscow Re provides its service as far as the Asian-Pacific region, Arab states and India.

Rating Agency Expert Ra assigned reliability rating A+ (high level of reliability with stable outlook) to Moscow Re in January 2003. Based on solvency assessment and financial stability, Rating Agency Expert Ra confirmed the rating A+ in 2004. In June 2004 Moscow Re opened discussions with the rating agencies Standards &Poor’s and A.M. Best about an international rating.
