Moscow Re has settled more than 12,500 claims and paid more than 717.9 m RUB (about 24.42 m USD) of the reinsurance indemnity since beginning of its reinsurance activities. During the six months of 2004 Moscow Re has settled 2,466 claims and paid more than 59 m RUB (about 5.5 m USD). New shareholders will not affect Moscow Re's main claims settlement policy principles.
